Heritage South Community Credit Union in Tennessee seeks a Loan Documentation Clerk to support its Consumer Lending team. The role emphasizes accurate loan document review, timely processing, lien perfection coordination, and responsive member communication.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of financial institutions/services and customer/member service principles.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines amid changing priorities.
• Effective communication, organization and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all loan files checked and processed within fourteen days.
• Scan and index loan and account documents into imaging system.
• Follow up on lien recordings and title/UCC documentation; ensure proper documentation received.
• Process skip payments, payments, and loan payoff requests.
• Prepare and review weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports (Paid Out Loan, To Be Checked, GAP, etc).
• Respond to member inquiries via phone, email, or letters with clear information.
• Handle debt protection claims and loan payment processing as needed.
• Address consumer disputes and credit bureau corrections in E-Oscar.
