Unknown Law Firm in Miami seeks an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to support a busy Litigation Practice Group handling complex defense matters in Federal and State courts. This direct hire role is ideal for a polished bilingual legal professional who enjoys high-level litigation support, detailed case management, and close collaboration with attorneys.

The candidate should be organized, proactive, and comfortable supporting multiple attorneys in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Litigation Legal Assistant experience in a law firm.
• Defense litigation experience required; insurance defense backgrounds not considered.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
• Experience supporting multiple attorneys with deadlines and namespace workflows.
• Strong knowledge of court rules, docketing, and billing processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, file pleadings, court filings, and other litigation documents.
• Calendar, deadline calculation, and monitor Federal and State court matters.
• Schedule hearings, depositions, meetings, and case-related activities.
• Manage electronic and physical case files, docketing, and records management.
• Coordinate with courts, clients, opposing counsel, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth case flow.
• Assist with attorney billing, narrative entries, billing edits, expense reporting, and reimbursements.
