Job summary

Kin Insurance is seeking a bilingual Licensed Customer Service Agent to support homeowners across multiple states. You will handle policies, payments, and coverage questions primarily by phone, with chat and email support as needed, in a remote-first environment.

The role requires an active P&C license, 6+ months in P&C CS, and experience in fast-paced call centers. Training is paid, and a $1,000 retention bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) or Personal Lines license required.
• Bilingual Spanish proficiency.
• 6+ months customer service experience in P&C/home insurance.
• Experience in high-volume call center or customer support.
• Hands-on experience servicing homeowners insurance policies.
• Ability to explain policy coverage, billing, and underwriting requirements.
• Comfort navigating multiple systems/tools (e.g., Google Workspace).
• Able to work in fast-paced, evolving environment with limited structure.
• Strong active listening skills and empathy.

Responsibilities

• Own high-volume inbound and outbound interactions across phone, chat, and email; guide on policies, payments, cancellations and coverage.
• Create, update, process homeowners policies, endorsements, payments, and refunds with accuracy.
• Educate policyholders on coverage details and next steps for informed decisions.
• Partner with banks/lenders to obtain required documentation and ensure policy compliance.
• Navigate multiple internal systems to resolve inquiries efficiently.
• Identify process improvements and share feedback to boost customer experience.
• Complete mandatory 10-week paid training and apply learnings to live scenarios.
