Job summary

The Morgan Group is hiring for a Leasing Specialist in Houston to guide prospective residents through the leasing process and present our community offerings. You will greet clients, tour apartments, and close leases while maintaining knowledge of the local market.

Candidates should have experience in sales or customer service, with strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. The role includes training and advancement opportunities within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School or better is required; associates/bachelor degrees preferred.
• Experience in sales or customer service is required; property management experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to MORGAN’s Leasing and Marketing, Management and Operations, Maintenance, and Emergency Procedures manuals and the Team Member Handbook.
• Answer the phone.
• Follow up with all traffic and input information into the system.
• Greet clients and show apartment communities.
• Tour and lease apartments and sell community products and services.
• Manage leasing process from intro to occupancy as per manuals.
• Walk apartments before move-in to ensure MORGAN standards.
• Prepare and complete leasing paperwork including the lease.
• Obtain move-in keys, remotes, and parking permits prior to move-in date.
• Respond to resident requests and resolve problems, including service requests.
• Complete Grace Hill classes and required training.
• Maintain knowledge of the community and competition; know market trends.
• Prepare weekly/monthly market surveys.
• Participate in resident functions and MORGAN events.
• Report to Assistant Community Manager when needed.
• Work overtime as necessary to meet MORGAN standards of customer service.
• Build relationships with colleagues across departments.
