Job summary

Padres Unidos seeks a Child-Care/Activity Lead to plan and deliver meaningful instruction and activities for preschool children in our educational modules. Under the direction of the Program Director and Executive Director, you will support other educators and foster a caring, non-hierarchical learning environment.

Requirements include bilingual/bicultural capacity with Spanish fluency; experience with early childhood development; ability to work irregular hours and adapt to site coordination;

Qualifications

• Bilingual/bicultural required with fluency in Spanish.
• Experience with early childhood education and preschool program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities for children aged 0–5.
• Collaborate with the program team on lesson planning and evaluation.
• Maintain a learning-conducive, safe classroom environment and report concerns as needed.
• Support other educators and participate in meetings with staff and coordinators.
• Prepare materials and ensure smooth delivery of lesson plans.
