Washington State University is seeking a Latino Hispano Program Coordinator for the Promotores program in Snohomish County. The role focuses on program management, education, community engagement and outreach on environmental topics such as waste reduction and water quality.

You will recruit and train volunteers, supervise outreach activities and collect outcome data to measure impact. The position is part-time (50% FTE), temporarily funded and has an end date of May 2, 2027.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant extension program discipline plus three years of related program experience.
• Master’s degree may substitute for up to one year of the required experience.
• Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.
• Must have or obtain a valid driver’s license and meet driving standards.
• Ability to work a flexible yet structured schedule including occasional night and weekend shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Manage the Promotores program, including recruitment, training, supervision, and data collection to measure impact.
• Educate communities on environmental topics like solid waste reduction, recycling, and water quality.
• Lead event and program promotion using traditional marketing and social media to engage Snohomish County communities.
