Job summary

Hirebridge is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead a high-volume restaurant kitchen in Charleston, SC. The role focuses on BOH operations, staffing, systems, and execution to ensure a smooth daily service.

You will work with senior culinary and restaurant leadership, owning key BOH performance areas. The exact scope may evolve based on experience and the final culinary leadership structure.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or comparable BOH supervisory experience in a high-volume restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily BOH operations and ensure kitchen is organized, staffed, prepared, and ready for service.
• Lead cooks, prep staff, dish team members during assigned shifts.
• Manage station setup, prep levels, production needs, opening/closing procedures, and shift readiness.
• Support BOH scheduling, staffing, attendance, shift coverage, and labor deployment based on volume.
• Monitor labor productivity and identify opportunities to improve efficiency while maintaining quality.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, inventory counts, storage, and rotation.
