Job summary

Tucson Unified School District invites applications for a classroom aide position at Mary Belle McCorkle K-8 (Ajo & Mission Area). The role assists teachers with routine classroom tasks and supports student learning.

Minimum requirements include one year of experience with youth, bilingual English/Spanish exam, a High School Diploma or GED, and either the AZED-approved assessment, an Associate’s degree, or 60 semester hours. This is a .75 FTE, 6 hours/day, 9-month position.

Qualifications

• One year of experience working with youth.
• Successful completion of the TUSD Bilingual (English/Spanish) Exam.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of an AZ Dept. of Education-approved Academic Assessment Test OR Associate’s (or higher) degree OR Two-years (60 Semester-Hour credits) of post high school general education studies.
• Speak, read and write in English.
