Job summary

Tucson Unified School District seeks a part-time paraprofessional to assist teachers at Robins K-8 School. This .625 FTE position covers about 5 hours per day in a 9-month calendar, with no district benefits for under 30 hours per week. Location is Robins K-8 School, Sweetwater & Silverbell Area in Tucson, AZ.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, English proficiency, and at least one year of experience working with youth. Start date follows the 2026-2027 school year plan.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Completion of an AZ Dept. of Education-approved Academic Assessment Test OR Associate’s (or higher) degree OR Two-years (60 Semester-Hour credits) of post high school general education studies
• One year of experience working with youth
• Speak, read and write in English

Requirements Prior To Start Date

• Copy of diploma, transcript or test results must be submitted at time of hire.
• FBI fingerprint background check.
• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
