You will oversee AP/AR/GL, month-end close, budgeting, and variance analysis while ensuring compliance with US GAAP. Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration with operations and international teams are essential.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Japanese and English is required.
• 6 to 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or international business.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Ability to lead daily accounting functions and improve controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations across AP, AR, GL, payroll support, month-end close, and year-end close.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements under U.S. GAAP.
• Coordinate reporting with Japanese headquarters or international stakeholders.
• Oversee inventory, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Maintain accounting controls, procedures, and documentation.
• Support audits, tax preparation, regulatory reporting, and team development.
