Qualifications

• 5+ years of corporate accounting, public accounting, or financial consulting experience.
• U.S. CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license or equivalent senior level accounting experience.
• 3+ years of experience utilizing QuickBooks and advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
• Deep working knowledge of both U.S. GAAP and Japanese accounting frameworks.
• Business-level English language proficiency for corporate financial reporting.
• Native-level Japanese language proficiency for executive client advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Review financial closings for a regional portfolio of Japanese corporate clients.
• Provide strategic financial analysis, cash flow reviews, and advisory reports to client executives.
• Reconcile complex general ledger accounts, multi-currency balances, and bank statements monthly.
• Interpret tax updates and corporate financial reporting changes to guide client business strategies.
