Wallenius Wilhelmsen is seeking a commercially driven, bilingual Japanese Customer Account Manager in Parsippany, NJ to build strategic relationships across the Americas and with Japanese headquarters. You will develop account plans, grow revenue, and manage multi-modal logistics opportunities.

The role requires fluency in Japanese and English, 5–10 years in B2B sales or strategic accounts, and willingness to travel. Hybrid work in the US with in-office presence Tue/Wed/Thu.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Japanese and English at executive level is essential.
• 5–10 years of experience in B2B sales and strategic account management.
• Willingness to travel across North America and internationally, including Japan.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic customer relationships with Japanese customers across the Americas, from operational teams to C-suite.
• Develop account plans, identify opportunities, expand accounts and grow revenue and profitability.
• Coordinate pricing, operations, legal and product teams to deliver integrated logistics solutions.
• Manage sales pipelines, tenders, RFQs and negotiations with cross-functional teams.
• Strengthen global collaboration with Japan-based teams and regional account managers.
