Job summary

ACCEL Schools LLC seeks a qualified Bilingual Intervention Specialist for Columbus Bilingual Academy North in Columbus, Ohio. The role focuses on supporting students with IEP goals, collaborating with teachers, and promoting social-emotional development in a bilingual environment.

You will conduct diagnostic and functional assessments, facilitate IEP meetings, and implement behavior plans while engaging families and the school community. This is a full-time, on-site position at CBAN North.

Qualifications

• Experience in a full-room inclusion or co-teaching model.
• Ability to support students with IEPs through data-driven interventions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Word/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers to interpret abilities and adapt curriculum.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction.
• Conduct functional behavior assessments and write behavior plans.
• Facilitate IEP meetings and write goals and objectives.
• Support student achievement and culture aligned with state standards.
• Apply research-based instructional practices and culturally responsive teaching.
• Serve as advisor to a group of students and communicate with families.
• Participate in planning non-instructional activities and events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
