Qualifications

• Associate degree is required to perform the role.
• Bachelor's degree preferred to support advanced responsibilities.
• Medical Spanish interpreter certification is preferred or experience in the field.
• Fluency in English and Spanish with strong communication skills is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee interpreter services across all hospital campuses and affiliated locations.
• Develop and maintain interpreter services policies, procedures, and compliance standards.
• Supervise interpreter scheduling and coordinate services with external vendors.
• Monitor service quality, utilization, costs, and patient satisfaction metrics.
• Provide Spanish interpretation and translation services as needed.
• Coordinate translation of patient-facing materials.
• Educate staff on language access requirements and culturally competent care.
• Support resolution of patient concerns related to interpreter services.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting on program performance.
• Prepare reports on program performance, utilization, and expenses.
