Job summary

Dallas Behavioral Healthcare Hospital is seeking an Intake RN to provide professional nursing care in accordance with hospital policy and procedures within a behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning and adjusting care plans, and teaching patients and families. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and maintaining accurate documentation while ensuring safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited college or university.
• Texas RN license in good standing required; BLS/ACLS/CPI certifications a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years clinical experience, preferably in behavioral health settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, assess needs, plan and implement nursing care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals to determine best care.
• Maintain safe environment and accurate records; supervise nursing staff.
• Document patient information and follow physician orders.
