Job summary

State Farm Agent team in Gaithersburg, MD seeks a bilingual (English/Spanish) Client Account Representative to provide outstanding service to customers, handle policy changes, billing questions, and account servicing. You will identify opportunities to cross-sell and help clients protect what matters most.

Ideal candidates communicate clearly, stay calm under pressure, and are motivated to grow their careers in a customer‑focused environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Sales or customer service experience preferred.
• Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license preferred or willing to obtain after hire.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
• Assist customers with policy changes, billing questions, claims support, and account servicing.
• Conduct policy reviews to ensure customers have the coverage that best fits their needs.
• Educate customers about State Farm products and financial services.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and recommend additional products.
• Follow up with customers regarding quotes, renewals, and outstanding requests.
• Process customer requests accurately and maintain detailed account records.
• Work with the agency team to achieve office goals and stay compliant.
