Job summary

Allstate Canada Group seeks a bilingual Instructional Designer to analyze learning needs and design targeted solutions. You will collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs in English and French to deliver engaging learning across our internal client groups.

You will lead design projects end-to-end, applying ADDIE/SAM, create evaluations, and support performance improvement while working remotely with a diverse team across Canada.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and developing learning solutions using tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, Vyond or similar
• Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles
• Bilingual in English and French (oral and written) required
• Ability to manage learning projects end-to-end with stakeholder consultation
• Experience designing and developing technical or complex learning content
• Experience using digital adoption or in-application learning tools (e.g., Whatfix) to embed guidance and performance support
• Ability to quickly learn new subject matter and work with SMEs
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders and SMEs to analyze learning needs and define objectives
• Lead instructional design projects from intake to design, development, evaluation, and handover
• Recommend learning strategies and delivery methods based on audience and context
• Design learning solutions in English and French for performance and business outcomes
• Apply ADDIE, SAM, and Bloom’s Taxonomy to create learner-centered experiences
• Design assessments and evaluation approaches to measure effectiveness
• Communicate project status, risks, and timelines to coordinate resources
• Contribute to continuous improvement of L&D practices
