Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to provide exceptional service as they help customers purchase roofing, building, and remodeling products.

This role requires bilingual Spanish/English, strong communication, and teamwork, with 1–2 years’ experience in roofing, siding, or windows; the company offers benefits and a supportive, employee-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers’ needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
• Upsell products and supplies per customer job checklist
• Answer phones and enter sales orders
• Process payments and apply to customer accounts
• Coordinate customer pickups with the warehouse
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure on‑time arrival and accuracy
• Restock store and warehouse shelves
• Address and resolve service concerns as they arise

Specific duties may include:

• Determining customers’ needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer’s job and up‑selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Specific qualifications include:

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and team player
• Detail and service-oriented

Bilingual speaking in Spanish/English is required
