Job summary

ABC Supply Co. is seeking an Inside Sales Associate to help customers select roofing, siding, and window products and to process orders, with a focus on service and accuracy.

You will answer calls, coordinate pickups, follow up on deliveries, upsell products, and resolve service concerns while delivering friendly, knowledgeable support. We value diversity and a team‑oriented approach.

• Experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine customers' needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Follow product/supply checklists and upsell additional products.
• Answer telephones and enter sales orders.
• Accept payments and apply to customer accounts.
• Coordinate customer pickups with the warehouse.
• Follow up on deliveries to ensure on-time arrival and accuracy.
• Reorder products to keep shelves stocked.
• Address and resolve service concerns as they arise.

Specific duties may include:

• Determining customers' needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions
• Following a product/supply checklist for each customer's job and up-selling additional products and supplies
• Answering telephones and entering sales orders
• Accepting payment and applying it to the appropriate customer account
• Coordinating customer pick ups with the warehouse
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves well stocked
• Addressing and resolving service concerns, should they arise

Specific qualifications include:

• 1-2 years' experience in roofing, siding, and windows is preferred (roofing supply sales or site work with a crew)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and prioritization skills
• Basic computer skills
• Positive attitude and team player
• Detail and service-oriented
