Job summary

QRC Group is seeking an Industrial Technician in Puerto Rico to support installation, maintenance and repair of manufacturing and packaging equipment. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, cGMP compliance, and multi-shift availability, serving the East-US region.

Ideal candidates hold an Industrial Mechanic Certification or related engineering field and have at least 3 years of experience with manufacturing or laboratory equipment. On-site work in Caguas/PR is expected.

Qualifications

• Industrial mechanic certification or engineering related education.
• At least 3 years of experience with manufacturing and/or laboratory equipment.

Responsibilities

• Identify, locate and diagnose failure; replace defective components and troubleshoot using drawings, diagrams, specs, prints, manuals and instructions.
• Maintain accurate records, ensuring cGMP compliance for equipment and systems.
• Perform routine maintenance across process (tanks, fillers), packaging equipment, utilities; HVAC; purified water where applicable.
• Coordinate and execute maintenance on critical systems/equipment with supervisor.
• Perform multi-shift work as required.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear PPE as required.
• Respond to equipment monitoring and building management system alerts and alarms; close follow-up and verification.
• Ensure maintenance work orders are completed on time and meet standards.
• Availability to work in East-US.

The Industrial Technician will perform basic tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, and repairs of manufacturing and packaging equipment. Availability to work in East-US.

• Able to identify, locates and diagnoses failure, replaces defective components and performs basic troubleshooting using standard electronic equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.
  
• Maintain accurate records always keeping equipment and systems cGMP compliant.
  
• Uses a variety of hand, power and test tools and equipment.
  
• Performs routine general maintenance tasks as designated by supervisor, to include any or all the following areas: process (formulation tanks and filler machines) and packaging equipment, utility equipment; HVAC; Purified water among others.
  
• Coordinates and executes maintenance on critical systems/equipment with supervisor.
  
• Performs multi-shift work as required.
  
• Maintain a safe work environment; work in a safe manner following all safety SOP’s and wear Personal Protective Equipment as required.
  
• Able to check and respond to troubleshooting activities for Equipment Monitoring & Building Management Systems alerts and alarms.
  
• Ensure maintenance work orders are completed on time while adhering to operational standards.
  
• Availability to work in East-US.
