Aziz Law Firm PC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a bilingual immigration paralegal to join our growing team. The role involves preparing and filing petitions, communicating with clients in English and another language, and supporting attorneys with case management.

Candidates should have bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, 1+ year immigration/paralegal experience, and familiarity with USCIS processes; associate/bachelor degree or paralegal certificate preferred.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency, written and verbal.
• 1+ year of immigration law or paralegal experience preferred.
• Familiar with USCIS forms and federal/state filing procedures.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; able to manage multiple cases.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation (visas, green cards, asylum, naturalization, etc.).
• Communicate with clients in English and another language to gather case information and provide status updates.
• Draft correspondence, legal briefs, and cover letters for attorney review.
• Manage and maintain case files, deadlines, and docket calendars using case management software.
• Conduct client intake interviews and assess immigration needs under attorney supervision.
• Coordinate with government agencies including USCIS, DOL, and immigration courts.
• Research immigration laws, regulations, and policy updates to support case strategy.
