Job summary

Sanabria & Associates, PLLC in Orlando, FL seeks an Immigration Paralegal to support attorneys in all phases of the immigration process and provide high-quality client service. You will prepare and file applications with USCIS and the Immigration Court, draft motions, coordinate deadlines, and maintain case records while working closely with supervising attorneys.

A bilingual Spanish/English candidate with at least 1 year of experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual (Spanish and English) required.
• Minimum Education: College Education or equivalent.
• Immigration Paralegal experience (At least 1 year of experience).

Responsibilities

• Preparing and filing applications with USCIS, including family-based petitions, adjustment of status, provisional waivers, naturalization, and U-Visas.
• Preparing and filing applications with the Immigration Court, with high emphasis on asylum and cancellation of removal applications.
• Drafting motions for filing with the Immigration Court, such as Motions to Change Venue, Motions to Consolidate, Motions to Substitute Counsel, etc.
• Communicating with clients to gather evidence and information in support of their case
• Drafting affidavits with clients in support of their case
• Electronically file applications and requests with different immigration agencies, including FOIA requests with USCIS, and electronic filing of applications and motions with the Immigration Court
• Organizing and managing case deadlines
• Enter information, documents, and notes into case management software
