Aziz Law Firm PC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a motivated Bilingual Immigration Paralegal to join our growing team. You will help clients navigate U.S.

immigration procedures by preparing petitions, interviewing clients, and coordinating with agencies. The role requires English and Spanish fluency, strong organization, and attention to deadlines, with opportunities to support diverse communities under attorney supervision.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
• 1+ years of immigration law or paralegal experience preferred.
• Familiarity with USCIS forms and filing procedures.
• Strong organization and deadline management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file immigration petitions, applications, and supporting documentation (visas, green cards, asylum, naturalization, etc.).
• Communicate with clients in English and a second language to gather case information and provide status updates.
• Draft correspondence, legal briefs, and cover letters for attorney review.
• Manage case files, deadlines, and docket calendars using case management software.
• Conduct client intake interviews and assess immigration needs under attorney supervision.
• Coordinate with government agencies including USCIS, DOL, and immigration courts.
• Research immigration laws, regulations, and policy updates to support case strategy.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent work experience preferred
