Job summary

Lisinski Law Firm is seeking a Paralegal to support immigration applications, work closely with attorneys, and assist clients. The role involves reviewing packets, preparing forms, handling FBI checks, FOIA responses, and client communications.

Ideal candidates have bilingual English/Spanish skills, prior immigration paralegal experience, and strong organizational abilities. Salary is competitive with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare immigration applications under attorney supervision.
• Review and revise forms and exhibits on attorney request.
• Provide initial reviews and plan workflows for operations teams.
• Review FBI background checks, police reports, and FOIA responses.
• Answer client calls and escalate to attorneys as needed.
• Help move cases forward and improve processes.
• Explain complex legal information to clients when needed.
• Create notes for case status after termination.
• Assist in preparing training templates/scripts for teams.
• Collaborate with teams to improve case processes.
• Handle overflow tasks as needed.
• Conduct legal and factual research per attorney request.
