Centro de Información seeks a bilingual Paralegal to support DOJ-accredited representatives in representing a largely Spanish-speaking immigrant client population. The role involves legal research, document preparation, and confidential data reporting for grants, with reporting to the Immigration Team Manager.

Responsibilities include client communications, file maintenance, draft correspondence, and use of Law Logix, Immigrant Pro, and Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of legal administrative procedures and documentation.
• Familiarity with immigration law and related processes.
• Proficient in legal research using diverse resources.
• Fluency in Spanish and English; translation experience preferred.
• Strong writing and speaking skills in both languages.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Assist authorized legal representatives with legal research and document preparation for immigration forms.
• Communicate with clients regarding required documents, appointments, and follow-ups.
• Provide confidential data entry and reporting support for grant programs and management.
• Maintain and organize legal files and documents.
• Draft correspondence and legal documents.
• Utilize Law Logix, Immigrant Pro, and Salesforce for case management.
• Assist with translation and interpretation as necessary.
• Attend training on immigration law and mandatory trainings within six months.
