Job summary

UFW Foundation in Salinas, CA seeks a Legal Assistant to support attorneys and accredited representatives in immigration relief services, manage correspondence, intake, and client outreach.

The role includes on-site administrative support, document preparation, translation, and coordination of travel and events; bilingual English/Spanish preferred; associate degree and California driver license required.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish or English plus another language relevant to community needs.
• Experience in administrative support or legal office environment preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain organized files.

Responsibilities

• Open, route, and respond to correspondence; answer calls and route messages.
• Provide high-level clerical support to lead staff and attorneys; assist with legal case support.
• Coordinate travel, organize meetings, and maintain file systems; greet visitors and manage intake.
