Job summary

La Raza Community Resource Center in San Francisco is seeking an Entry Immigration Paralegal to support four immigration attorneys. You will handle intake interviews, organize documents, and assist with removal defense, asylum, family petitions, and naturalization, with room to become accredited.

Ideal candidate is bilingual English/Spanish, detail‑oriented, organized, and client‑service oriented. This is an entry‑level role with emphasis on administrative support to ensure day‑to‑day operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent formal and informal education.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Interview potential clients for consultation intake.
• Organize, analyze, and prepare documents, forms, evidence, and declarations for affirmative applications and immigration court filings.
• Conduct legal research and writing.
• Input client information into the case management system and maintain case notes.
• Maintain client confidentiality and sensitive information.
• Provide administrative support to Immigration Legal team.
