Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Washington is seeking an Attorney to provide immigration law advice and representation. The role supports the Director of Immigration Legal Services and works with social work teams to refer clients for holistic services.

Responsibilities include interviewing clients, preparing filings, supervising interns, engaging with community partners, and ensuring timely program reports. A J.D.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree in good standing with bar admission in any state; MD/DC bar preferred.
• One year of immigration law experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Interview clients seeking legal assistance and advise options.
• Refer clients to case managers for holistic services.
• Provide ongoing legal representation starting from intake to filings.
• Conduct community outreach on legal issues.
• Supervise interns/volunteers as assigned.
• Ensure timely submission of external and internal program reports.
• Serve as liaison between the program and community partners.
• Complete Continuing Legal Education and licensing requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
