Job summary

World Relief in the Chicago area is seeking a Community Ambassador to engage immigrant communities, analyze needs, share policy updates, and connect individuals to available resources. You will serve as a bridge between World Relief and diverse populations, collecting feedback and building partnerships.

The role covers Aurora and DuPage, includes workshops and outreach both in person and virtually, and requires flexibility for evenings or weekends.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in Spanish or Ukrainian.
• MS Office skills required.
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
• Experience with immigrant communities preferred.
• Strong English communication and cross-cultural skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to immigrant communities and identify needs.
• Gather, share, and communicate feedback to help identify trends and service gaps.
• Connect individuals to internal and external resources and referrals.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners and World Relief programs.
• Plan and participate in educational groups, workshops, and events.
