Job summary

World Relief Chicagoland seeks a part-time Community Ambassador to engage immigrant communities, gather feedback, and connect individuals with services in Aurora and DuPage. You will collaborate with fellow ambassadors to expand partnerships, plan workshops, and communicate policy updates in target languages.

The role requires flexibility for events outside standard hours and a commitment to World Relief's mission and faith-based values.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Arabic with Sudanese dialect preferred; strong communication skills in English.
• Experience in community outreach or immigrant services preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to immigrant communities to identify needs and refer to services.
• Assist newcomers with navigating resources and accessing programs.
• Build relationships with community partners and coordinate education workshops.
• Document outreach plans and outcomes in client records and reports.
• Collaborate across teams to expand networks and increase access to services.
