Job summary

World Relief is seeking a Community Ambassador to engage with immigrant communities, gather feedback, and connect people to internal and external resources. The role partners with diverse populations across Chicagoland, including Aurora and DuPage, to expand partnerships and increase access to services.

Flexible schedule with some after-hours events; the position aligns with World Relief’s mission to serve vulnerable communities and requires a committed Christian faith and cross-cultural

Qualifications

• Must have strong English communication skills.
• MS Office proficiency is required.
• Cross-cultural experience and/or immigrant/refugee experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to immigrant communities to identify needs and provide referrals.
• Share information on policy updates and available resources.
• Build and maintain relationships with community partners and organizations.
• Plan and participate in workshops and community-building events, in person and virtual.
• Create multilingual informational materials about services and life in the United States.
• Document plans, activities, and outcomes in client files and reporting records.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support outreach and service delivery efforts.
