Job summary

World Relief Chicagoland seeks an Arabic-speaking Community Ambassador to promote integration and empowerment of newcomers in Chicagoland. This role gathers feedback from immigrant communities, shares policy updates, informs about resources, and strengthens relationships through meetings, workshops, and networking.

The position works from our Chicago office and is grant-funded through 2027. This is a part-time role at 20 hours per week with flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends as

Qualifications

• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Personally committed to World Relief's mission and values.
• Ability to affirm World Relief's faith commitments and identity.
• Personal refugee/immigrant experience.

Responsibilities

• Regular outreach to immigrant communities and referrals.
• Assist newcomers in navigating community resources.
• Share feedback from immigrant communities to inform service provision.
• Maintain timely and accurate client files and reporting records.
• Coordinate educational activities and community networking events.
• Promote World Relief at community events and collaborate with programs.
