Job summary

World Relief in Aurora, IL seeks a Community Ambassador to engage immigrant communities, gather feedback, and connect people with resources. The role supports outreach across Chicagoland’s Aurora and DuPage locations.

This limited-term position requires flexibility for evenings/weekends, and a mature Christian faith aligned with World Relief’s values. Fluency in Spanish or Ukrainian is preferred.

Qualifications

• Mature with a Christian faith and commitment to World Relief's values.
• Fluency in English; Spanish or Ukrainian is strongly preferred.
• Ability to engage with immigrant communities and diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to community members; identify needs and make referrals.
• Assist newcomers in navigating community resources.
• Gather feedback from immigrant communities to identify service gaps.
• Build relationships with community partners and share updated resources.
• Plan and participate in educational groups, workshops, and events.
• Create and share informational materials in target languages.
