Job summary

Fresno Regional Workforce Development Board seeks a Community Coordinator to engage Fresno residents, especially immigrant and refugee communities, and to coordinate with local organizations. The role focuses on bridging gaps between community members and city services, advocating equitable practices, and supporting immigrant affairs initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or two years of administrative support experience with public/community relations emphasis.
• English language proficiency plus ability to read/write in another ME language is required.
• Possession of a valid California Driver’s License required at time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison to Fresno community and immigrant organizations.
• Coordinate outreach with CBOs and faith-based organizations.
• Track citizen inquiries and requests for services and share information about opportunities.
