Job summary

AutoZone’s Hub and Mega Hub Operations oversee regional distribution centers that stock fast-moving inventory and support same-day or next-day delivery. The Hub Coordinator will lead teams, monitor performance, and collaborate with store leaders to ensure efficient, safe, and organized hub operations.

You will drive improvements in order fill, parts availability, and customer service while maintaining a strong safety culture and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of automotive parts and distribution center operations.
• Proven leadership abilities with coaching and team support.
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Process-oriented mindset focusing on operational metrics and efficiency.
• Ability to lift, load, and move merchandise.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Team Leadership & Development – Support and train Hub Specialists, Order Pullers, and Drivers to follow processes.
• Effective Communication – Partner with Hub Store Managers and leaders to optimize scheduling and staffing.
• Process-Oriented Operations – Monitor workflow, review hub scorecards, and maintain 98% order fill rate.
• Collaboration & Support – Ensure proper stocking, returns processing, and merchandise in designated areas.
• Metric-Driven Decision Making – Analyze delivery performance, attendance trends, and vehicle maintenance to improve efficiency.
• Safety & Compliance – Maintain PPE standards and ensure hub equipment functions properly.
• Customer & Inventory Management – Help customers locate parts and improve service levels.
