Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking an HR Trainer to support the Training Department at plant WM with orientation, training, and education of associates to develop safe, efficient, and quality-driven performance. Responsibilities include delivering instructor-led training, translating communications, and maintaining records across all shifts.

The role emphasizes collaboration with management, OJTs, and HR, plus ongoing skill development and audits readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency with MS Office or Google Apps.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Fluent in English and Spanish is essential.

Responsibilities

• Drive and support continuous improvement through training and development.
• Facilitate orientation and on-the-job training for associates across shifts.
• Train all associates on plant procedures and policies.
• Adapt and revise training materials as needed.
• Serve as SME for training and development for hourly associates.
• Collaborate to create, update, and deliver training content.
• Act as liaison between management, supervisors, OJTs, and HR.
• Maintain training records for audits and history.
• Attend or lead departmental and plant meetings.
• Deliver instructor-led training on safety and HR topics.
• Provide verbal translation for plant-wide communications.
• Assist with facility-wide events and recognition activities.
