Job summary

QUICK USA in Gardena, CA is seeking an HR & Workplace Safety Manager (Exempt) to lead HR operations and oversee OSHA-compliant safety programs on the manufacturing floor.

The role is bilingual in English and Japanese and requires hands-on HR experience in a food manufacturing environment to support onboarding, employee relations, safety training, and incident investigations.

Working hours are Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM onsite.

Qualifications

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Japanese.
• HR experience within a food manufacturing or general manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle recruitment, hiring, orientation, and onboarding processes.
• Maintain personnel records including time/attendance and leaves.
• Address inquiries, concerns, and grievances promptly.
• Collaborate with managers on employee relations and performance evaluations.
• Administer and improve EHS programs on the manufacturing floor.
• Lead safety training and conduct hazard risk assessments.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and drive continuous safety improvements.
