Job summary

DO & CO group in Redondo Beach, CA is seeking a dynamic Human Resources Manager, bilingual in Spanish, to lead the HR function for our airline catering facility and partner with the General Manager and operations leadership.

This onsite role drives workforce planning, employee relations, talent development, and compliance for a large operational team, while guiding the local HR group and ensuring HR processes support performance, engagement, and staffing stability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or related field.
• 5–8 years of progressive HR experience supporting operational workforces.
• 2+ years leading or supervising HR team members.
• Strong employee relations experience including investigations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Fluent in English and Spanish; able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR partner to GM and leadership team, guiding workforce planning and people strategy.
• Lead and develop the local HR team ensuring consistent HR processes.
• Coach managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, and people leadership.
• Lead complex employee relations investigations with leadership to resolve workplace issues.
• Use workforce data (attendance, turnover, staffing trends) to identify operational HR solutions.
• Support hiring strategies, onboarding, and internal talent development to maintain staffing stability.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and industry regulations for airline catering.
• Drive employee engagement initiatives to strengthen retention and culture.
