Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Human Resources Manager for its manufacturing facility in Humble, TX. This role leads HR initiatives, programs, policies, and practices to support the company’s growth and a safety-focused culture.

Bilingual English/Spanish is required to effectively partner with a diverse workforce. You will collaborate with site leadership on staffing, performance management, compensation awareness, benefits, and compliance, while building workforce planning and development

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in HR or business management.
5+ years HR management experience including staffing, employee relations, benefits, and OD.
Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
HRIS experience (UKG a plus).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Partner with site management to coach and develop a culture aligned with company values.
Support HR team on complex and sensitive questions and issues.
Lead performance review and goal-setting processes across leaders.
Develop talent strategy, staffing plans, and manage recruitment for hourly and salaried roles.
Communicate compensation and benefits programs and manage open enrollment.
Collaborate on job design, organization structure, and job descriptions.
Align talent strategies with HR and Operations leadership; plan succession and retention.
Handle unemployment, workers' comp, onboarding, terminations, and compliance.
Partner on safety culture and return-to-work programs.
Identify training needs and budget; arrange training or external delivery.
