Job summary

Dessert Holdings Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead HR initiatives at the Humble, TX manufacturing facility.

This role reports to the VP of HR for Supply Chain and blends hands-on HR execution with strategic policy and program support to align with company objectives. The ideal candidate will drive talent strategy, oversee recruiting for hourly and salaried roles, manage performance processes, and partner with operations to build a strong safety culture and effective onboarding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or business management.
• Experience leading HR functions in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Partner with site management to advise, support, and coach on HR matters.
• Support performance reviews and goal setting across leaders.
• Develop talent strategy, staffing plans, and recruit hourly and salaried roles.
• Communicate compensation, benefits, open enrollment, and merit processes.
• Define roles, job descriptions, and expectations with department leaders.
• Support unemployment, workers' comp, onboarding, terminations, and compliance.
• Collaborate on safety culture and return-to-work programs.
• Identify training needs and manage training budgets or external delivery.
