Job summary

Garlock Flexibles in Reno, NV is seeking a bilingual Human Resources Manager to align HR initiatives with plant needs and support English and Spanish-speaking teammates. This in-person role oversees recruitment, employee relations, benefits, investigations, and policy adherence.

You will partner with regional and corporate HR teams, manage talent development, ensure legal compliance, and drive continuous improvement in HR processes at the Reno facility.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BS/BA in HR, business administration or related field required.
• Minimum of 8 years progressive HR experience; 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Must be able to communicate proficiently in Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR initiatives aligned with manufacturing plant needs in Reno.
• Provide guidance on employee and labor relations to managers and staff.
• Oversee recruitment, performance management, benefits, and investigations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and company policies.
• Manage talent acquisition, postings, interviews, and union considerations.
• Lead enterprise-wide HR programs including training and open enrollment.
