Job summary

Emish Market in Fife, WA seeks an experienced HR Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, payroll support, and related HR tasks for a growing Ukrainian-American business.

You will maintain employee records, assist with payroll, benefits, and employee relations, and help ensure adherence to federal and Washington employment laws. This is an on-site role with Mon-Fri hours and a starting pay of $27+ per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional HR experience.
• Fluent Ukrainian and English required.
• Knowledge of WA state and federal employment laws.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations for employees and managers.
• Coordinate recruitment, screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation.
• Support payroll tasks and attendance tracking.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Assist with payroll discrepancies and benefits monitoring.
• Support investigations and employee separations as needed.
