Job summary

The Fresno Area Hispanic Foundation in Fresno, CA is seeking an experienced HR Manager to support daily HR operations and advise employees and leaders on policy and compliance. You will administer benefits, provide payroll support, and help ensure accurate HR pay operations.

You will lead recruitment and onboarding, manage employee relations, oversee leave management, support performance management, maintain records, and develop HR programs aligned with the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required.
• At least five (5) years of progressive human resource management experience is required.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Administer recruitment activities as part of day-to-day HR operations.
• Manage onboarding processes for new employees.
• Support employee relations needs across the organization.
• Administer benefits programs and related HR activities.
• Oversee leave management processes.
• Provide payroll support to help ensure accurate HR pay operations.
• Support performance management activities.
• Administer HR compliance requirements.
• Interpret and apply company policies and employment laws to promote a positive, productive, compliant workplace.
• Maintain accurate employee records.
• Support organizational initiatives.
• Assist in developing and implementing HR programs and best practices aligned with the organization’s mission and goals.
• Serve as a resource to employees and management.

Education
