Bi-Rite Family of Businesses seeks a Bilingual HR Generalist to support the People + Culture Team across multiple San Francisco locations. You will handle recruitment, onboarding, records management, benefits, accommodations, leave, safety, and compliance while translating staff communications to Spanish.

On-site collaboration with staff and managers, coaching in workplace communication, and managing confidential data are core.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of dedicated experience in human resources in a multi-unit setting.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
• Experience coaching managers and resolving employee relations matters with discretion.
• Confidential data handling and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Supports core HR functions: recruitment, onboarding, records, benefits, safety, and compliance.
• Provides on-site support to staff and managers across Bi-Rite locations.
• Responds to workplace concerns and coordinates with People + Culture team.
• Supports job postings, interviewing, and hiring processes.
• Facilitates onboarding, orientation, and staff integration with Bi-Rite values.
• Manages HR data and records with a high level of confidentiality.
• Offers guidance on workplace communication and conflict resolution.
• Assists with People + Culture projects and events on-site.
• Ensures translation of staff communications to Spanish.
