Job summary

Midwest Refrigerated Services, Inc. is seeking a Bilingual HR Generalist to support our Pleasant Prairie, WI and Yorkville, IL locations.

This role covers recruiting, onboarding, policy administration, benefits, workers’ compensation, training, performance management, and leave coordination. You will collaborate with the HR team to advance departmental and organizational goals, uphold employment laws, and support a values-driven culture within a growing 3PL environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• At least one year of human resource management experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Maintain personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements.
• Update company organizational chart and project list.
• Assists department in carrying out various human resource programs and procedures for all company employees.
• Full cycle recruiting for open positions.
• Conduct new hire orientations & manage the onboarding process.
• Support HR operations with employee inquiries across functions.
• Keep current on HR trends/regulatory changes and best practices.
• Take on special projects as assigned.
