Job summary

TERMINAX, a fast-growing provider of high-performance automotive films, seeks a proactive HR Generalist to support U.S. and Canada employees and day-to-day HR operations from Irvine.

The role covers recruiting, onboarding/offboarding, payroll coordination, benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, and HRIS records. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, capable of working independently, and able to partner with managers and staff in a dynamic, growing company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, psychology or related field (preferred).
• 1–3 years of progressive HR experience in a growing company.
• Knowledge of federal and California employment laws; Canada experience is a plus.
• Experience with recruiting, onboarding, payroll coordination, benefits, and employee relations.
• Experience with HRIS, payroll, applicant tracking, and timekeeping systems; Rippling is a plus.
• Strong detail orientation and confidential records handling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting including postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offers.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation, background checks, Form I-9, E-Verify, and HR records.
• Handle offboarding, documentation, benefit notifications, and asset return.
• Prepare payroll-related information: timekeeping, overtime, PTO, bonuses, and changes.
• Administer benefits: health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
• Maintain HRIS records and lifecycle data accurately.
• Support performance management, coaching, investigations, and employee relations.
• Answer policy, payroll, benefits, leave and HR inquiries; ensure compliance.
• Assist compensation reviews, planning, and HR projects; support events and engagements.
• Coordinate office operations for Irvine, including vendors and facilities.
