Job summary

Economy Wholesale Grocers is hiring an HR Generalist to join our Human Resources team at our El Paso headquarters. You will support employees and managers across recruiting, onboarding, benefits, attendance, payroll, and employee relations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 2–4 years of HR experience, a relevant degree, and strong bilingual English/Spanish communication. This on-site position offers day shifts and a collaborative team culture with confidentiality and discretion

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Human Resources experience required.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Working knowledge of HR practices, employee relations, benefits, recruiting, and compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day HR operations and support employees and managers.
• Maintain accurate employee information, personnel files, and HRIS records.
• Process new hires, transfers, promotions, pay changes, and terminations.
• Coordinate recruiting activities and candidate communications.
• Support onboarding, benefits administration, attendance, payroll support, and offboarding.
• Assist with leave administration (FMLA, ADA, etc.).
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information.
