Job summary

C&C Produce, a GS Foods Group company, is seeking an HR Coordinator to support onboarding, teammate records, payroll coordination, benefits, and recruiting. This role is based in the Kansas City area and partners with GS Foods Group HR teams to ensure compliant, efficient HR processes.

The ideal candidate is organized, discreet, and customer-focused. The position reports to the HR Manager and works closely with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, and operations to improve the teammate experience in

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• 1–3 years of HR, administrative, payroll, recruiting or related experience.
• Experience supporting HR in distribution, warehouse, foodservice or high-volume settings.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS/payroll system preferred.
• SHRM or other HR certification a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the HR department.
• Assist with recruiting coordination and interview scheduling.
• Enter and maintain teammate records in HRIS.
• Support payroll changes, timekeeping, and benefits administration.
• Manage employee leave, FMLA, ADA accommodations, and attendance records.
• Support performance management and training activities.
• Assist with HR audits, compliance reporting, and record retention.
• Prepare HR correspondence and HR-related reports.
