Job summary

Economy Wholesale Grocers seeks an organized HR Coordinator to join our Human Resources team at the Headquarters in El Paso, TX. You will support recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, attendance, and employee relations while handling confidential information with discretion.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in HR, a relevant degree, and strong bilingual English/Spanish communication. This fast-paced, hands-on role requires attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of Human Resources experience required.
• Bachelor's or associate degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day HR operations and provide support to employees and managers.
• Maintain accurate employee information, personnel files, and HRIS records.
• Process new hires, transfers, promotions, pay changes, and terminations.
• Coordinate recruiting activities, including job postings, interviews, background checks, and communications.
• Assist with onboarding, benefits, open enrollment, and leave administration.
• Support attendance, timekeeping, payroll questions, and HR reporting.
