Job summary

Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to own payroll end-to-end across affiliated entities and serve as the organization's lead HR advisor to executives and operations leadership.

The role requires English/Spanish fluency and hands-on payroll experience, including Paylocity, with knowledge of prevailing-wage and certified-payroll processes for a multi-site workforce. This onsite role in Cerritos, CA offers a full-time schedule.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Spanish for sensitive discussions and clear communication.
• Hands-on end-to-end payroll ownership for a multi-site workforce.
• Experience with Paylocity payroll and HRIS functionality.
• Knowledge of prevailing wage and certified-payroll processes.
• Experience supporting transportation, trucking, or logistics workforce.
• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in HR/HR operations.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete payroll lifecycle for multiple entities.
• Administer payroll through Paylocity and maintain accurate payroll data.
• Coordinate payroll inputs across locations, departments, and classifications.
• Advise executives on employee relations, workforce planning, and policy implementation.
• Maintain HRIS data integrity and payroll controls across the organization.
• Lead investigations and ensure compliance with policies and laws.
